The Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West offers a schedule of ever-changing professional learning opportunities open to all educators. If you're interested in a topic that isn't listed below, you can always request a professional development session for your building or district by clicking on and filling out this form: District or Building PD Request Form. As a reminder, these customized services are free for our PD member districts (Maumee, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Sylvania, and Washington Local) and may be purchased by another district for a fee, viewable here on our Non-Consulting Services Aligned Districts Fee Schedule.

TIER 2 STRATEGIES
Join us for a professional development series on implementing a strong MTSS process and how it can lead to a special education referral.

December: Design Process Refresh
Join this monthly virtual session to keep a pulse on relevant and helpful STEM topics. These events are open to all educators interested in adding to their STEM toolkit to incorporate the STEM mindset and instructional practices into their classrooms.

Introduction to Restorative Practices
Learn about the purpose and value of using restorative practices (RP), which are designed to strengthen relationships between individuals as well as social connections within communities in order to repair harm when conflict occurs and to proactively meet students’ needs so misbehavior is less common.

This 4-day workshop is a validated instructional model that effectively addresses the academic needs of multilingual learners.

Putting Faces on the Data
BOOK STUDY
Join us as we learn how to develop a common language for sharing all students' progress with all teachers and leaders and how to use ongoing assessment to inform instruction.

This training will include the teacher guide, screening and placement assessments, wall cards, ideas for creating morpheme walls, and support for spelling and encoding.

Teacher’s Guide to Curriculum Design for Gifted and Advanced Learners
Explore advanced models of curriculum design specifically tailored for gifted and advanced learners.

The cost is $50 per person per workshop for other ESC Member districts and our sponsored Community Schools, and $100 per registrant for educators from all non-member districts and schools and ESCLEW Staff.
