In collaboration with your local school system, the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West offers an award winning Early Childhood (preschool) Program.


We offer a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children who have delayed development, young children from income eligible families, and young children seeking a high quality preschool experience. Our curriculum is language based and focuses on play and hands-on experiential learning. Teachers assist your child in the development of cognitive skills, social and emotional development, and physical development through active learning.

We are proud to announce that all sites within our ESC of Lake Erie West Early Childhood Consortium have received the prestigious GOLD Step Up to Quality Rating! 

Districts Served

The ESC of Lake Erie West's Early Childhood Program serves students who reside in following districts:   
  • Anthony Wayne
  • Maumee
  • Ottawa Hills    
  • Washington Local  

Priority for Registration

  • First Priority - Children on IEPs; and/or
  • Next Priority - Typical Peers whose families qualify for PFCC, Child Care Voucher, or ECE; then
  • Last Priority - Full tuition typical peers 
  • * Children age 3 or 4; 
  • * Not age-eligible for kindergarten
*This may be changed based on unique situations as mutually agreed-upon with the school district.
